- Abstract
In this work, fabric weave is expressed by weave factor and index of interlacement. The association between these factors was found to be r = 0.85, R² = 0.72. The flammability characteristic of the fabric was evaluated in terms of after flame and after glow with reference to the weave factor and cover factor of 100 % cotton fabrics. The burning behavior of the fabric is dependent on the fabric construction, fabric properties and yarn parameters.
