- Abstract
The article discusses the establishment of the National Training School for Cookery located in London, England that was built in 1874 by British inventor Henry Cole. It highlights the collaboration between Cole and British author Edith Nicolls Clarke as well as English novelist Thomas Love Peacock in running the school. An overview on the life and works of the Cole, Clarke and Peacock, is also provided.
