- Abstract
The article discusses the complex structural and thematic issues of death, time and redemption that underlie the book of Jacob 7:26 in the Book of Mormon. Topics covered include the poetic nature of the second half of the sentence which makes verse 26 difficult to interpret, the lyricism and emotional tone of the verse, and the connections between mourn and the themes of death and time as described in the verse.
