- Abstract
'Chrono-space' is defined as the different types of spaces that may be present in hybrid buildings depending on changing times and transformation of these, and the speed at which people usually walk through them. It starts from the initial hypothesis of the existence of three main chrono-spatial categories that may be present in contemporary hybrids. Through the analysis of the 'modernization universal patents' published by Rem Koolhaas and applied in part of his own work, it is intended to corroborate the hypothesis of the chrono-spatial typification, to show the importance of the arrangement of these types with in relation to the capacity for change and transformation of contemporary hybrid architecture and highlight the main project techniques in Koolhaas's work that allows to implement them.
