- Abstract
The article presents a study using the Random Forests methodology to predict gully density and its associated prediction error when using catchment based models. The study was triggered by the prevalence of gully erosions which present great threats to agricultural lands around the world. Results revealed the unreliability on the ability of models of sediment transportation in predicting gully erosion.
