- Abstract
The article presents the annual report of the organization Friends Historical Collection for 2003-2004. It is stated that the organization has continued to grow with visits and enquiries by researchers remaining steady. It also discusses the lack of staff and volunteers and the progress made in collection of historical documents. It is stated that there has been slow progress made in acquiring, processing and maintaining the archives relating to the Society of Friends. Some of the notable events for the organization include the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant by the State Library of North Carolina of $6,984 to purchase equipment needed to begin its first digitization project.
