- Abstract
Metal-containing polymers based on 5-vinyltetrazole have been synthesized at nickel anode in aqueous medium. It has been found that the both electrochemically active bonds (C=C and N-H) participated in the polymerization. Colored polymeric films have been formed at the electrode surface at low current density, and powders have been obtained at high current density. Composition and structure of the metal-containing polymers have been elucidated by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and thermogravimetry study.
