- Abstract
The article offers the author's views on the challenges faced by immigrants students in universities and colleges across the U.S. The author is critical on the various forms of anti-immigrant rhetoric such as restrictive immigration legislation, and antagonism implicitly embedded in institutional policy and curriculum. She also discusses the positive role that institutional staff can play to alleviate these challenges.
