- Abstract
The article focuses on the Students Challenging Realities and Educating Against Myths (SCREAM) Theater, that is an improvisational, interactive peer theater group that educates on issues of interpersonal violence, such as sexual assault, dating violence, and sexual harassment. The students involved are not professional actors. They are just regular students who want to get involved in these issues. The author shares her experiences after she joined SCREAM. She focuses on the fear and trauma faced by a women who is being raped. She finally comments that her experience with SCREAM helped her understanding her research on women studies.
