- Title
Computer programme to predict hospital admissions.
- Abstract
The article focuses the development of a computer program that would predict hospital admissions by King's Fund in London, England. Croydon Primary Care Trust (PCT) is using the software package system which uses ten million items of data from patient's record which help anticipate the possible percentage of admission within the following year. It is expected that system will prevent ill-health, reduce admissions to hospital and enable PCT to save money.
