- Abstract
The article discusses the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Koontz v. St. Johns River Water Management District and effect of environmental impact analysis on sustainable development. Topics discussed include legal standard set by the U.S. Supreme Court for a municipality to use land use exactions for developmental projects, the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the cases Nollan v. California Coastal Commission and Dolan v. City of Tigard.
