- Abstract
The article presents the case of a 33-year-old woman with lesion in her throat located in oropharynx which had been observed years earlier at the time of intubation for an umbilical hernia repair. Topics discussed include symptoms she encountered including dysphagia, odynophagia, voice changes, and shortness of breath, result of laryngoscopy which showed an exophytic, nonulcerative mass in the oropharynx, and considerations for the imaging appearance of lingual osseous choristomas.
