- Abstract
The article discusses the study, which confirms that higher education classrooms help in academic learning and re-creation of sociocultural dynamics by including experiences and personal stories of teachers and students. It emphasizes student engagement in difficult conversations and moving beyond the construction of safe spaces to develop brave spaces, which helps to expand sociocultural awareness, cognitive development, and group productivity.
