The article presents the chapter 2 of the book series "Studies on Popular Culture." creation of post-World War II film in Germany. It explores the effect of American culture in Germany during the post-World War II, the relationship between New German Cinema and America, and Tätergeneration or the perpetrator generation and the Nachgeborenen or the people were born after the Nazi era.
