- Abstract
The article presents a study which explores the effects of motivation and immediacy of instructors for students' mathematics learning. Topics discussed include the implication for students' learning and motivation of nonverbal and verbal immediacy behavior of instructors, involvement of calculus students for the research, and assessment of students' perceptions regarding their instructors. Results reveal that behavior of teachers has great influence for mathematics learning of students.
