- Abstract
The article presents information on a medical research conducted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia related to the diagnosis and treatment of the different types of mycotic aneurysms affecting the abdominal artery and iliac vessels. As stated, the clinical trials and case studies show that the aneurysms are commonly caused by staphylococci and gram negative bacteria. As mentioned, the disease can be diagnosed with ultrasound and computer tomography techniques and treated through graft surgery.
