- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 674 adult men and 436 adult women with a mean age of 38.2 years and mean stone size of 25.5 millimeters underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) in a referral training center. All of the patients underwent evaluation by a urologist, ananesthesiologist and a cardiologist if needed. Diagnosis on stone was done with ultrasonography and confirmation with plain abdominal x-ray, intravenous urography or computed tomography scan.
