- Abstract
The aim of this study is to provide an analysis about the conflicts and “economic crime", as well the social and penal laws mechanisms employed in the Portugueses town councils (Alfaiates, Castelo Bom, Castelo Melhor, Castelo Rodrigo, Guarda, Santarém, Torres Novas, Évora e Beja), to regulate the economic sectors, defending their populations and guaranteeing the supply of products and that are food necessary in the daily routine, through common-laws, custumary and laws (13th Century). Leaving these assumptions is also posible to know any professions (“mesteirais" and commercial agents), commerce places, among other details related with development of urban economics activities.
