- Abstract
The article presents a study on the 26 sources of the Rocky Mountain Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum) that was established in Colby, Kansas in 1980. It reports that the tree's total height at 23 years ranged from 3.6 to 5.4 meters, the diameter breast height (dbh) ranged from 5.6 to 10.4 centimeters, and the survival rate ranged from 10 to 100 percent. It reveals that height growth was weakly related to geographic variables but dbh was related to latitude, longitude and elevation.
