- Abstract
The article discusses the collections of the Vermont Historical Society (VHS) as of 2013. It examines several items on hand at the Vermont History Center in Barre, Vermont, including the sword of British poet George Gordon, Lord Byron, a box commemorating the Battle of Bunker Hill during the U.S. Revolutionary War, and a banner from the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) of Vermont. The article also discusses the acquisition process of the VHS and states that 2013 marked the 175th anniversary of the founding of the VHS.
