Abstract
The author reflects the unavoidance of mistakes in the field of scientific discovery. He states that mistakes are as unavoidable in science as they are in life generally. An overview of Aristotle research is also presented. The author suggests that scientists must always be alert towards the big mistakes which can lead to unexpected discovery.
