- Abstract
The article discusses a study examining the association between β-blocker use and symptoms of dyspnea and fatigue in patients with newly diagnosed advanced lung cancer using Fisher's exact test. The results of multivariate model revealed that a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) contributed to a worse Edmonton Symptom Assessment System (ESAS) dyspnea score and showed no association between beta-blocker use and dyspnea or fatigue.
