- Abstract
The article discusses the significance of exhibitions in the modern movement in architecture in France. It is said that professional exhibitions contributed to the knowledge and mediatisation of the modern movement. It is said that exhibitions is one of the important stages in the diffusion of modern architecture and an office building type to a large public. It is also noted that exhibitions facilitated the diffusion of ideas by networks and considered as celebrations where popular festivities were no less important than official ceremonies.
