Topics discussed include establishment of biotechnology firms such as Calico by Google Inc., and Human Longevity founded by genome researcher Craig Venter, to tackle aging, drugs development by Calico related to compounds called P7C3s, which activates nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase enzyme inhibiting cell death, and Interventions Testing Program of the U.S. National Institute on Aging.
