- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 61-year-old male who was found dead at his home address after a strong putrefactive odor. It highlights that disturbances in the house suggested of man suffering from diogenes syndrome, a syndrome in which older people tend to avoid social contact and medical care. A photograph depicting effacement of the liver covered with various deposits of metastatic adenocarcinoma is also presented.
