The author recollects three cases he observed in his 30 years of profession where the death occurred to asphyxiation and are examples of cadaveric spasms. An infant was smothered by blanket held so tight that it was difficult for him to remove it. A young man was found in supine position during a seizure attack. A couple drowned while holding each other in a pool.
