- Abstract
The article presents information on a modest common law solution for orphan works related problems. It informs that creating incentives for keeping update information of ownership reduces orphan works problems. It discusses how the U.S. Permission-First Rule has become a dogma for copyright purists. It provides information that political economy of copyright has reduced copyright terms, reintroduced mandatory registration and renewal fees for providing solutions related to orphan work problem.
