The article offers film criticism of the documentary film "The Ister," directed by Daniel Ross and David Barison. The article addresses the philosophical aspects of the film in relation to the subject of the film, 1942 lectures by philosopher Martin Heidegger on the poem "Der Ister" by Friedrich Hölderlin.
