The article discusses the significance of the seven pillars of science in collecting information for electronic monitoring research. It depicts the impact of the scientific studies increase, focusing on electronic monitoring, on science and community corrections. The seven pillars, which are employed in collecting and analyzing information, are expounded including relativism, objectivity and ethical neutrality. Moreover, the advantage of putting the scientific approach to work is explained.
