- Abstract
The article comments on a study by S.J.H. Khidir and colleagues which examined the relations between anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA), patient burden and joint inflammation during progression of clinically suspect arthralgia (CSA) to inflammatory arthritis. Topics discussed include a comparison of the evolution of symptoms and joint inflammation between ACPA positive and negative patients, the role of prognostic factors in CSA course, and the early stages of rheumatoid arthritis.
