OHIO SCHOOLS FOR BLIND AND DEAF TO BE HOUSED IN NEW CAMPUS.
- Abstract
This article reports on a new combined campus for the Ohio School for the Deaf and the Ohio State School for the Blind, which was announced by the school's superintendents Ed Corbett and Lou Mazzoli. $4 million will be spent for the planning and design of the new facility. This plan was made following the recent passage of the Fiscal 2007-2008 Ohio Capital Budget. The schools began negotiating with an architect for the planning and design of the new campus. Construction of the new campus is expected to be completed within 4 to 5 years.
