- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 30-year-old male who was taken to the emergency department due to pain, swelling, burning sensation, and black staining of fingertips. It mentions that the patient was a polling officer at a polling booth during an election. The patient was not told about any reaction or burn due to election ink. It notes the risk of burn exists with the use of indelible ink .
