In this article, the author discusses the ideal practice of clinical photography. It suggests imforming consent for each use of the image must always be obtained from the patient or guardian. It argues the benefits of photography by a trained medical photographer in a suitable environment. It argues that all images must be stored in a safe and regulated environment, with controlled access.
