- Authors
Killeen, Anita
- Abstract
The article presents a commentary on the sentencing approach for fraud cases involving conspiracy to fraud in Great Britain. It references some court cases which raised key issues through appeals, including the relevance of the Sentencing Guidelines Council's guideline upon sentencing for statutory offences of fraud. The appropriate use of the power to impose consecutive sentences for fraud offences and for conspiracy to defraud is also discussed.
