- Abstract
This article, titled "Studying Interspecific Synchrony in Bird Survival Using Constant Effort Sites Mist‐Netting Scheme," explores the synchrony in annual adult survival among songbird species across France. The researchers used a constant effort sites mist‐netting scheme to capture and study the birds without causing harm. They found that the survival rates were largely synchronous among species, despite their different ecological niches, life histories, and migratory strategies. However, the causes of this synchrony remain unclear, and further monitoring is needed to investigate the factors driving interspecific survival at a national scale.
