- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the effects of the students' participation in the activities of Science—A Process Approach program on the oral communication skills of disadvantaged kindergarten children. The Test of Oral Communication Skills was designed to measure this skills. Analysis of variance of the pretest scores showed no significant differences among any of the means of the groups. It was concluded that when the activities and teaching strategies of the program's curriculum are presented to these children, these skills are enhanced.
