- Title
GROWING FAITH IN MENNONITE YOUTH THROUGH SOCIALIZATION AND EXPERIENCES: A HISTORICAL REVIEW OF MENNONITE YOUTH MINISTRY, 1885-2005.
- Authors
Yoder, Bob
- Abstract
The article presents a historical review of the past 125 years of Mennonite youth ministry through the model of religious socialization and religious experience. The efforts were not always in step with local struggles but mostly adopted from other faith traditions leaving them with a white, middle class ethos of youth ministry. The book "Choosing Church: What Makes a Difference for Teens," by Carol Lytch is presented.
