- Abstract
The article discusses the developmental study to utilize the theory of reasoned action to construct a message to persuade elementary teachers to teach energy conservation practices to children in the U.S. It is believed that if elementary teachers learn and view about energy conservation, favorably, they will teach energy conservation practices to their students. Research in science education suggests that the use of persuasive messages is a viable instructional approach for attacking this type of concern.
