- Abstract
In order to explore the effect of using concrete spoils to improve the vacuum precompression consolidation of coastal port silt, this study carried out vacuum precompression drainage consolidation experiments on the original sludge and modified sludges with five different concrete spoilage contents. and the consolidation effect was evaluated by drainage, moisture content and cross plate shear strength. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) the variation law of the silt drainage under different concrete waste slag contents is basically the same: the silt in the model bucket drains rapidly within 0~50 h of vacuuming, and then the drainage rate gradually decreases, and the drainage is basically stable at the 250 th hour, reaching more than 95% of the total drainage; (2) with the increase of the concrete waste slag content, the drainage of the silt gradually increases, and the increase of the drainage gradually decreases; the shear strength of the slab increases gradually, and the increase of the strength gradually decreases; and when the content of concrete waste slag is low, the improvement effect on the sludge drainage, water content and strength is not obvious; (3) under different concrete waste slag content, the water content of the silt and the shear strength of the cross plate with the barrel depth are basically the same: the greater the barrel depth, the higher the water content and the lower the shear strength.
