- Abstract
Using Rosa roxburghii (Thorn pear) as raw material, the total saponins in R. roxburghii was extracted by microwave-assisted ultrasonic method. According to the principle of central composite design (CCD), using the extraction rate of total saponins as evaluation index, the extraction technology conditions were optimized by response surface methodology based on the single factor experiments. The results showed that the optimum technology conditions for the extraction of total saponins from R. roxburghii by microwave-assisted ultrasonic method were as follows: ethanol volume fraction 54%, liquid to material ratio 15∶1 (ml∶g), microwave power 545 W and ultrasonic time 22 min. Under the optimal condition, the actual extraction rate of total saponins was 4.18%, and the relative error between the actual and theoretical value was 0.7%, which verified the stability and reliability of the model established by the experiment.
