- Abstract
The article discusses the Center for Resource Recovery and Recycling's focus on the recycling of end-of-life rare earth magnets. Topics addressed include the importance of neodymium and samarium-cobalt magnets in the manufacture of electric and electronic products and the factors affecting the availability of rare earth elements. Also mentioned is the development of economically attractive and environmentally conscious technologies for recovery and recycling.
