The article features Charles Péguy, a French author, and his metaphysical ideas of what a modern history is. It mentions that Péguy simply define the modern world as his world. It presents the works of Monsieur Taine and Ernest Renan that were used by Péguy to define the modern social and intellectual institutions. Moreover, it states that Péguy considered to be as a clerical tradition of antiterrorist thinkers.
