The author reflects on metallobiology of zinc and copper in tuberculosis (TB) bacillus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis. He discusses host defense mechanisms against bacterial infection involving intoxication by the transition metals. He pays attentions on the role of zinc and copper the functions in all biological systems.
