- Abstract
The article focuses on findings of a study on use of a potassium-competitive acid blocker vonoprazan vs a proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) for healing endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD)-induced artificial ulcers after treatment of gastric neoplasms. Topics include comparison of the healing rate post-ESD ulcers related to Helicobacter pylori infection and type of acid inhibitory drug; reduction rates of artificial ulcers post-ESD; and advantage of PPIs in the healing of post-ESD ulcers.
