- Abstract
The article provides information on the Brazilian peppertree (Schinus terebinthifolia Raddi), which is considered as one of the most serious invasive plants in Florida and classified under Category I invasive plant by the Florida Exotic Plant Pest Council (FLEPPC). It discusses the origin of Brazillian peppertree, its impacts in Florida which invaded an estimated 283,000 hectares of south and central state, its management and biological control.
