LEADERSHIP IN CONTEMPORARY BIOLOGY.
- Authors
WILLIAMSON, FRANCIS S. L.
- Abstract
The author reflects on the role of teaching biological sciences in relation to ecological and social problems. He contends that biologists in such wide-ranging and specialized areas of research and teaching as virology, intracellular function, and diversity and stability in biological systems all have applicable contributions toward ecological/social problem-solving. He asserts that biologists play an important role in addressing present social concerns.
