- Abstract
The article discusses the environmental aspects of a controlled flood from the Glen Canyon Dam in Colorado into the Colorado River. It states that impact of river restoration through controlled flood on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, and mentions that the flood restored sandbars throughout the river corridor. It notes translocation of a number of endangered Kanab ambersnail, and cites impact of the flood on ethnobotanical resources.
