- Abstract
The article reports on the study of the National Association of Mental Health (NAMH), the mental health charity based in Great Britain which reveals that an estimated 26.2 percent of young adult Americans suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder every year. It notes that 4% of adults had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and 9.5% encountered mood disorders such as major depression, mania, and bi polar disorder. It discusses the implications of ADHD and mood disorders.
