- Abstract
The article presents a study on the implications of manic subjective experience on treatment adherence of patients with bipolar disorder. It states that euthymic patients with bipolar I disorder were interviewed regarding their former manic experiences and data was analyzed using a grounded theory method. Particular focus is given to nostalgia as an anecdotal reason for treatment retrieval in the disease.
