- Abstract
The graduate school authors consider the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic upon the community of people with disabilities. Topics include public discussions of rationing medical care; the premature efforts to institutionalize people with disabilities to free up hospital space, despite the fact that nursing homes and long-term medical facilities have become the hardest hit for infection rates; and other disablist practices including limited access to health care for minorities, indigenous peoples, and those with disabilities.
